AEV 3.5Lift w/JKS Arms
I'm looking for someone that has installed AEV 3.5 Prem. Lift with Lower JKS arms on a 2dr w/6 spd. From what I can tell there is 2 different lenght arms. Do I need longer arms than stock or shorter?
I want to order the lift next week and already have some arms that are for 0-6" Length hope they are right. If not I need to order more.

You need your lower front control arms to be longer than stock.
I just looked up those JKS arms. That is the correct part.
The 0-6" measurement is not the length of the control arms, it is the range of lift heights that those arms are meant to work with. You should not have any problems.
One suggestion...the JKS arms use two bushings. You may want to consider a brand of control arms that uses a Johnny Joint - perhaps Clayton?

Johnny joints will provide more freedom of movement to you suspension, and will be more durable than a bushing - provided that you keep them greased.
Please don't think that I'm slamming JKS though...I've also got some JKS parts included in my own Frankenlift

Thanks for the info. I already have the JKS lower arms, I changed directions on what I was going to do. This is the first Lift kit I've ever purchased so hoping to do it right.
I've never had the money for a lift and have always had to make do with homemade and had to piece a lift together. This forum and a little money has changed my ideas.
Next purchase is wheels and tires.

I get what you're saying, and understand the concept that JKS is working with. That said, I personally prefer the Johnny joints on Currie and Clayton arms for durability and the ability to provide free rotation on multiple axes.

I have the set-uo you're referring to. AEV 3.5" on a 2dr 6 speed and I use all 8 JKS arms. It works beautifully!
With regards to the op that likes the johnny joint: no problem if those are your preference, however to say that they offer "more freedom of movement" is just wrong. The JKS design offers every bit as much flex and does it without the noise/harshness of the johnny joint arms. I had a set of Curries on this JK and switched them out for the JKS...much happier with the set-up.
To the origianl poster: if you would like to PM me for details/questions, I'd be more than happy to help.

I am running Clayton arms which are very strong, but I don't have a full set, so I can't really tell how much stiffer they are than the stock arms. I like installing one component at a time to determine its impact, but I had to install the LCAs to adjust my Caster when I installed my lift kit.
