Default Rock Krawler 3 link or upper control arms to fix pinion angles?

Krawlers website recomends adjustable lowers with the 3 link conversion but it doesn't state that it wont work with factory lowers. Frankly I can't see why it wouldn't. Only thing that would prevent it was if their upper control arm did not contract enough in which case custom arms are easy enough to come by. Operating on the assumption it works (until I call them and find out for sure monday) I see no reason why not pay a few dollars extra for this instead of just purchasing adjustable uppers....

Feel free to make a case why I should or should not convert to 3 link. I just purchased their entry kit and am in the market for rear upper control arms and front lowers......this seemed like it would be a great addition and aid in some flex.

Oh come on now, I know your tie rod wound is still wide open so I won't judge you. I agree that they could make a change to their warranty exclusions reflecting that steering components will not be covered but it doesn't mean that you can repudiate years of quality parts that theyve provide over the years. I would feel the same way you did though if it wasn't clearly excluded.

Ive already talked to rock krawler and weve come up with an idea. I was just commenting on JKRockStomper's situation with his tie rod.

Their kit is engineered to work with their 1 inch extended control arms. When I spoke to chris at rock krawler he said he will shorten the upper control arm .5 inches plus make the threads on the arm extra deep so I could chop a bit off either end in case I need it shorter. This should work very well with my setup, probly be one of the flexiest jk's with stock control arms out there, lol

How much more articulation would i get from going from the rear 4-link Rock Krawler 5.5" suspension lift to the 3-link kit. Right now i have a mid arm 4-link kit installed, but wondered if it is worth the extra money to get the 3 link kit in the rear?

Hard to say, your shock length will still be the limiting factor in most cases but what you are allowing for is your axle to articulate more freely with less binding from the connections.
