Default Clayton Lower CA's=SUHWEET!

I usually don't do raves about products, but I just installed Clayton front & rear lower CAs to replace another aftermarket brand and I am stoked.

The Claytons are beefy and then some, PLUS because the front's are bent inwards they eliminated the need for me to purchase wheel spacers.

Just got to find a wrench big enuf to tighten jam nuts.

Can't wait to get them off road!

Use a pipe wrench on the jam nuts, they're about $5

The Clayton LCAs are sweet. They are massive and time will tell how good the joints and bushings are.

The only improvement I would make is to make them about 1/2 shorter to provide room for better adjustment range.

A for some reason my front lowers keep ending up in a twisted position, inspite of being straigntened out twice.
If you look at them from the front they are both twisted slightly counterclockwise. The top left corner of each bushing is compressed more than the bottom.

A friend has the JKS arms and the don't do the same thing and the threads on the adustment are finer which provides for very accurate fine tuning.

BTW, make sure you retorque them.
