Seems like a nice simple mod.

it's easy to do. just take your time and make sure everything is laid out properly b4 u start to cut. i used tinman080's write-up for the basic layout and kinda tweaked here and there for personal preference. i used a dremel for the cutting of the plastic and a grinder for the metal. i couldn't find black split shank rivets at any of my local stores so i just used expanding bare aluminum ones with washers on the back. (use of washers requires access to the back side of the rivets so you'll have to drill holes in the back of the plastic bumper to accommodate that) if you have any questions feel free to ask. good luck

Driver's side all ready to cut

Passenger side just finished (there was some existing damage to this end of the bumper, so ignore that)

Driver's side clearance

Passenger side clearance

Completed installation

I did mine as well, looks pretty much identical to the above pictures. Just take your time, as the old saying goes...measure twice, cut once.
