Default KM2 fitment

I know I have searched these forums up and down.

I was just wondering if there's anyone with 285/70R17 BFG KM2 wheels on a 2 door with no lift and 1.5" spacers with stock 17x7.5 moab wheels. I am looking for this EXACT setup. I've seen detonator's with 285s, I've seen 98xjsport's 33x12.5, etc... none of them were KM2s.

I wonder:

1. Rubbing at flex? - I do not disconnect, EVER.
2. Do I have to worry about speed bumps? - My campus has speed bumps that some cars cannot get over and the speed limit is 20mph.
3. Tire pressures run? - thinking 35PSI?
4. post pictures, if any. - will help me decide on white letters out or not on my blacked out 2 door

Okay. Since it seems like nobody has the setup I posted.

anyone with any other brand of tire in the same size on a 2dr, with no lift, 1.5" spacers, and stock moabs can chime in?

The faq's answer a lot of your questions. It doesn't even have to be the EXACT setup. Even if two different JK's did have the EXACT same setup, guess what? You could very easily still have differences in ride height, rubbing, etc. Any of the dozens of 'can I run 33's with no lift' threads will get you plenty of opinions, including what and how to trim if necessary. (just in case you rub and that other guy with the EXACT same setup did not...)

Q: What is the biggest size tire I can fit on my stock Jeep JK Wrangler?
Q: On the road, what PSI should I be running in my tires?
Q: Backspace...
Q: Spacers...

(With 4 inches of lift, my 33's were rubbing the bumper and fenders. And I got feedback from several guys with the EXACT same lift, saying they had no issues at all.)

If you are really that concerned with speed bumps, go with the stock size tire or get some coil spacers.

I am running a set of 285/70/17 KM2's on my stock wheels. I put them on with a set of spidertrax wheel spacers and they fit great no rubbing. But I decided to go with a Tereflex 2.5BB and sway bar disconnects for better clearance.

Im running 285/70 17 KM2s on my unlimited with stock rims, no spacer, no lift and mopar off road bumper. no scrubbing arround town, even on full lock
no problem on speed bumps here.
I run them at 50psi, 35 then 40 were way to squirmy for me. now turn in is much better and it dosent tramline.

dragon - yikes, 50 PSI?? That's pushin' it. I was the same way with my other mud tires on the cherokee and I went through one set a year or so. Best to be running 30 to 35.

KT - I plan on going the same route as you. I am getting the 33s and then saving up for a 2.5" BB.

50psi feels better than the 35 and 40. as for wear I only do 6000km a year, thats about 3700mi a year. Looking at the depth of the treads they will last me a long time.

50 psi

Mine feels like I'm riding motocross knobbie tires at 37 psi.

Good looking rig though!
