Default Powder Coat Stocks

I have had my 07 X for quite some time now and the payments are dwindling down so now I have extra spending money. I really would like to do something different with the wheels or tires. I have seen a few people powder coat there moabs, and I am considering it. I found a write up that seems simple enough to follow but then again I dont want to mess it up terribly. Is it worth it to get somebody to do it for me? Or just cheaper to buy a new wheel and tire combo?
Im still a newbie so bear with me for all the "stupid" questions haha

This is what my jeep has looked like for almost 3 years now
only major change was tinting the front windows

Unless you can find a set of really cheap used wheels that you like, it will be cheaper to powdercoat your Moabs if you aren't tired of them.

If you have someone do them, I think the main problem is the logistics because it is typically a 2 day process and some shops that do the work can't unmount/remount the tires so you have to figure that part out.

If you want to get an idea of how it will look, check out the Show Off threads in the Show and Tell Section.
