Default So, my GF got me these for Christmas....

My girlfriend got me 4 Skyjacker Nitro Shocks from Quadratec for Christmas. I guess based on my vehicle description and her budget, Customer Support recommended these shocks because they were "middle of the pack" as far as price. No experience with skyjacker, but alot of folks seem to bash it. Anyone with facts on why, rather than just "skyjscker sucks"?

I understand your concern, but isn't the question academic?

If your GF doesn't see the big white and red shocks mounted on your JK, what are you going to say?

I've probably seen the same bashing of Skyjacker products as you have. I have lived with one of their lift kits in the past. Their products aren't that bad, but they aren't that good either compared to others that are slightly more costly.
Sometimes they are the low cost alternative, other times they are the first to market with a certain product.

Skyjacker makes lift kits for so many vehicles that they manufacture their own shocks. If not, find out who does. It may be a major manufacturer like Monroe which may appease your mind.

Other than being on the stiff side. I haven't had any problems with these shocks.
