Default 3" lift info

So I have a question and am wondering if I can get some advice from someone who has some knowledge with suspension. I already have a 2" bb lift by BDS that consists of just coil spacers, new shocks, brake line extenders, and of course the bumpers to protect the frame from bottoming out. I'm looking to get another inch by buying a 3" coil spacer kit that I found on ebay for like $80 that only includes the spacers. Since I have already replaced the shocks and the other stuff could I get away with this set up without getting longer sway bar links and the track bar relocate? I have already considered that I may need to adjust caster and the steering link. I don't do any real major rock crawling, just the usual medium difficulty terrain. Any input would be much appreciated.

I dont know if i would trust 3in coil spacers..... When you get into 3in of lift you are looking at drive shafts, track bars, and control arms.... I would think it would be best to go with a coil kit you will be paying more but getting more... You get what you pay for is thrown around alot on this forum which is very true... Just my 2 cents.

Just wondering who makes this 3in coil spacer?

The 3" coil spacer is made buy some company called Performex, they seem to claim that they have a good product and that they warranty their plastic type spacer. The other option that I was thinking I could do is to get a 1" body lift but I am not sure if that would work with a Kargo Master Cage rack. I guess I should start a new thread for that because I didn't see anything on that before.

Anymore input on any of this from anyone?

ya i see them now..... to be onist i would stay away from that.... if all you want is to get up one more inch the bodylift is not a bad idea and you would save alot of cash with not having to get drive shafts, control arms or anything like that. There is no reason why a bodylift would not work with the rack.... I would go with the MORE body lift alot of people say good things...

As WalOvitch said once you go above 2.5" the need for replacing other components like driveshafts becomes more important.

If you need to go beyond the 2" spacers, why don't you consider going with something like a TF 2.5" coil lift or an OME lift. They will both provide at least 3" of effective lift.

If you are really that budget constrained go with the 1" body lift as recommended.
