Default Superchips on 2010 JK 6 speeds ??

Does anyone know something about a Superchips or another brand that is compatible with the JK 2010 ? Also.. Do you recommend me to install it in a 2010 JK ?

I'm running the Hypertech Max Energy on my 2010 Rubicon. To my knowledge it's the only brand that currently works with the 2010 computers... More power and tire diameter correction as advertised, I'm happy with it.

No weak point or negative stuff like for the Superchips one ? They all talkin about a "dead point" in the gaz pedal. Nothing bad about the Hyertech ?

That's totally misconstrued. The weak or dead spot mentioned about the Flashpaq was a new issue with the throttle map created for an individual customer. The surge problem that this is supposed to remedy has been reported by a very, very tiny minority, and although I have the same gear, manual transmission and Flashpaq, I have never experienced the issue. In fact myself and others would like to see a full time idle bump option. Also, I have asked for which revision of the software these people are running so perhaps I could recreate the issue and no one has yet to respond.

As things stand right now, it's a non-issue as the Flashpaq isn't available for a 2010 yet.

JPop,

Everyone,

Do a Hypertech owner on a 2010 can see a real diff in fuel efficiency or hp gain with it ? Somedy tried it and can compare with and without ?

Having been a former Hypertech user, all I can say is good things come to those who wait.

J POP you and I have never talked online but way back when you first started your rant/thread you forgot to mention for the first few pages that you had headers on your JK and my Tech department asked you not to install my tune, from day one even before you installed it for the first time. Hypertech did not want you to install our tune on your jeep being that you have aftermarket headers we did not tune for. The thread you started has no fair comparison unless everyone else is running headers like you. It holds no weight as a comparison on a stock without header JK. Like most of the JK public, I do not have headers.

I sure hope you try harder in the future to compare products evenly when in the public spot light.

Hypertech gives you 30 days to decide if you want to keep the product. No disclaimer on the box saying if the seal of the box is broken, the 30 day is voided, a true 30-day money back guarantee.

the gains are the same on a 2010 as they are on the 2008 and 2009 no changes in horse or torque in the 3.8 ltr just software changes.

1. Just some food for thought, Hypertech is privately owned we are not owned by other performance parts companies or a marketing firm.
2. I have 20 degreed engineers on my pay roll and two marketing people, compare my engineering power to any aftermarket tune company. We don't buy our shares of the market with fancy marketing we earn it by giving you exactly what we represent we are selling. We use Superflow all wheel chasis dynos, not marketing Dynos (dynojet)
