Default spare tire inside

I do not use the backseat in my JK and want to put the spare tire inside the jeep. What do you people without the spare on the back do? You just take the carrier off or what? Is there a kit to cover the holes?

I love how the JK looks without the spare tire in the back.

unfortunately those with no spare on probably dont have one or leave it at home. couple options would be get a roof rack and put it up there. another option would be put your seat down and buy a spare tire carrier for a truck bed and should be able to install in inside the jeep. i think its the setup that prerunners use in the bed. that would make it secure inside instead of just throwing it in the bac.

i thought i saw somewhere where u can get coverups for all those holes on the tailgate. im sure i saw it on the forum.

I have 33's and I just took my seat out and strapped the tire down using the seat mounts. I think it looks awesome.

I have a 37 stuck in the back with the seats up and strapped down. It is a PITA. Just waiting on the carrier to arrive.

remove spare tire carrier from back of jeep, buy nutzerts for the proper bolt holes on tire carrier mount tire carrier and tire in back of jeep, use nylon interior push thingings to cover holes.
