Rear OME Springs - Quick Question
Just installed new OME HD Springs in my rear - It sits quite a bit higher than the front OME HD Springs I have - rear seat is out (not a lot of weight). Difference from front to rear is about 1.5"- 2"
Couple people have told me the springs will settle a bit - questions are
1. Is this true
2. How much
I am playing with the idea of inserting .5" - 1" spacer in front to level out.

Springs were done at separate times. Had a 2.5" BB lift - took front out and put in OME HD springs when I got the winch and bumper...as soon as I got money got the rears.
I figured they wouldn't level out but the rake looks a little excessive - maybe due to fact it's been level for past 5 months.
Thanks for feedback.

It was just about perfectly level....until I had my dog in the back and a Sea-doo boat attached - then we had some rear sagging and neg. rake.
Personally - I liked the look better before I put the rear HD springs in so I am going to ultimately put in a front spacer to again level it out.
I have a Smittybilt XRC10 winch with the Rugged Ridge Stubby with winch loop (no end caps) if that helps gauge the weight I am supporting up front. I also do have the RR rear bumper although the weight difference isn't that much more than stock and it didn't affect the height of the rear.
Unfortunately I don't have any before pictures that would really show the rake with the front springs and rear BB.

Do you know the coil numbers front and rear? The tags should be on them. I'd be curious to know if you somehow ended up with MD fronts or the 'super' HD rears that I saw northridge mention a while back.
With a RR XHD and 9500lb winch up front, stock bumper in back, I was talked into a OME HD front /MD rear combo. This put me level front to back. The fronts have not sagged at all, the rears lost about 1/4". Ended up added a 3/4" spacer up front and a 1" spacer in back for a little more height and to re-level it.

After 5K miles on my HD coils no sagging yet. I do not have the front OME spacers in and I have a slight lean forward like stock. I am ok with this. Even with the addition of a 35" spare and a winch/bumper combo no sagging...

Rear is 618 - I don't know the front off hand.
I don't think its a problem - I have my seat out which will take a slight load off and I am more concerned about when I have 400 pounds of gear or the dog and boat attached with the neg. rake it produces.
More than anything, I think it will just take some getting used to. I would be interested to learn the normal slope from rear to front if you put a level on the top and measured difference for a stock jeep.....might venture to dealer to do this myself.

I just added a OME long travel kit from Northridge and without the new bumper the rear was 0.5" taller that the front and after the bumper it was 0.5 shorter than the front. Bumper weight was around 110# with the tire carrier. Should be about right because I still need the front bumper and winch (adding about 140# although I may need front spacers. Here's a pics now (sorry the camera was tilted):

You can see from the wheel wells the jeep is higher in the rear. I think it will work out just about right.
