Default Synthetic winch line size?

I am not too familiar with synthetic line so I thought I would ask a few questions before purchasing. I have a Warn M8000 that came with 5/16" x 100' wire cable so...

What size synthetic line should I go with? Stay with 5/16" or upgrade to 3/8"? Also, what preferences on manufacturers? I was looking at Master Pull at my local shop. Any help would be appreciated.

Thx...

I have a Superwinch epi9 that came with 125' of 5/16 cable. I bumped up to the 3/8 for the strength. You could do either, but won't be able to fit as much 3/8 on the spool. I only used about 85 feet of the 3/8.

I went with Viking synthetic - I've heard good things about the Master Pull, but it's more expensive than alot of the others.
