Default 3.25" rustys lift. What are your thoughts??

Hi everyone I am planning on upgrading my suspension, wheels and tires. I plan on running a 35" M/T so i have been looking for 3-4 inch lifts. So far the best deal i have found seems to be this rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=rustys&Product _Code=RK-325B-JK-C1&Category_Code=WHEELS10 shipping is 120 i believe so we're talking about 2,060. Is this a pretty good deal or is there a different brand or store i should be looking at. I want this lift or a comparable one and black wheels are fine with me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

i've ran their 3.25" lift on 2 JK's now, and love it. I didn't buy the package with wheels, but just lift ran just under 700 shipped. you may want to buy bump stop extensions, since they don't come with them, I bought teraflex bump stop extensions for pretty cheap and they keep the tires from rubbing the fenders.

when i trimmed my fenders, using this write up: http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...ry-fender-chop i didn't need the bumpstop extensions anymore. but i kept them on so i can fit 37"s later

the rusty's 3.25" lift and extra 1" spacers with trimmed fenders, you could run 37"s

I did buy their lower adjustable control arms too, but haven't installed them yet, i did that adjust my caster.

I have a Rustys lift on my CJ5 and its great. I also had one on my old Liberty and it was great as well. My dad has Rustys springs on his XJ....

Good products and I recommend them. I did OME on my wrangler just for something new..

I dont believe there are a lot of places that offer tires/wheels/suspension packages.

IMO, the MTZs included in the package are great for mud and sand, but they are a bit noisy.

Rusty's kits are OK and IMO they are better than others in that price category. They include springs, shocks (I assume that you are not getting the Ranchos or Bilsteins) and adjustable track bars.

Those track bars will center the axle laterally adjusting it for the lateral shift produced by the lift (towards the drivers side on the front and the passengers side on the back), but they do not do enough to correct suspension geometry. Rusty's claims "they don't use "wimpy" brackets" is an excuse. Brackets are not wimpy if you design and manufacture them properly.

This will not affect the ride, but it could have a noticeable impact on handling and steering.

Either way its a reasonably good deal given that each tire+wheel is ~$400.
