Okay yall,

So right now I have had some 8179's by procomp waiting to get to me for about 3 weeks with no sign of coming in from quadratec. I am a very antsy person and it is driving me crazy. Right now I have a set of the stock steel wheels and other than the tinyest bit of rub I am getting by without any problems. I actually really like the looks of them and now Im now thinking of cancelling my order and putting it towards a REAL lift. Does anyone have any issues with these wheels (like problems with a 35) or something else?? (right now I have 33.4's) Also, I have looked long and hard and cant find anyone with these wheels and a real lift (meaning not a bb or leveing kit) so pictures of this would be great!

The should work fine but you will have to run spacers.

 

I had 35's on those stock steel wheels with the OMIX 2.5" lift kit which actually ended up being 3.5" of lift on the 2dr. I had some problems with the front and rear tires rubbing pretty bad against the frame and swaybars. You will either need to get some new wheels with at least 4.5" of backspacing or get some wheel spacers.

 

Cancel the wheels and get spacers intead.
Paint or powerdercoat stock wheels.
Get lift.
