Default Winch selenoid mount location underhood

I am looking for recommendations on where to mount my winch selenoid pack under the hood. I want to keep it out of the weather and wondering where others have located it. Pics would be good if you have them.

Thanks!!

Thinkin about this myself. I think I am going to put it behind the grill in front of the radiator. Anybody else have ideas or pictures of an install would be great.

Sorry, no pic, but there is room in front of the battery. I did have to take the cover off the solonoid pack (I wrapped it in some rubber sheath), and I extended the wiring for the remote connection and installed that in the glove box.

By wrapping it in rubber can it still breathe? Meaning, you don't want it to be so air tight that moisture can't escape and also start corrosion. Over time, wouldn't that be just as bad as it being in the elements? I was just going to put mine behind the grill too, but I like the idea of it being under the hood even better. Plus the remote connection in the glove box is a great idea....
