Default Suspension upgrade or exhaust?

I currently have an 09 2 door JK with the Rough Country 2.5" coil/shock lift (2.2 performance shocks) and 33" cooper stt's. Im not that happy with the rough country setup, whilst the stance looks great I feel that its quite a harsh ride and can feel every little bump. My next move was going to be a cat back exhaust but im wondering whether it would be a better move to get a better suspension setup first???.... so here's the question.

i've listed my options below so do I....

A) purchase the teraflex 2.5 BB with shocks to replace the rough country lift, The guy on the phone said they were VSS gas shocks (are the shocks any good?)

or

B) purchase an AFE cat back exhaust

thanks for the help guys

VSS stands for Vehicle Specific Shocks which means the shocks are tuned for each vehicle.

This will probably improve the ride over stock shocks to some degree, but what you really want is the shocks tuned to the springs which is obviously not possible with the BB.

The BB will make your ride feel close to stock if that is good enough for you, but if ride is that important you would be happier with the TF 2.5" coil lift.

IMO the suspension is more critical component of your lifted JK at this point than the exhaust, but may a better note will help you forget the jitters from the suspension .

Save up for the TF coil lift, there's no point in doing something three times that you could do once.

....Or you could purchase better shocks, Bilstein, OME, TeraFlex come to mind and see if it improves the quality of your ride...If it doesnt, then all you would need to purchase is the TF 2.5 Coil lift less the shocks...Just my .....

I thought thats the answer that I would get back, and the choice I was leaning towards. One major problem with living in Dubai is tha we dont have the selection you guys have over in the states, so im probably going to go with the teraflex BB. Im happy with 2.5" of lift, i've been on and through all the terrain we have over here and that amount of lift is perfect in my opinion. im going to go and see whats available from a local shop, might be able to get the BB here then get shocks shipped in from the states. lets see
