Default Rough Country 1.75 lift w/shocks

I need to replace my OEM shocks and was wondering if this is a good system to go with. I want to level out the jeep and eventually upgrade my tires 1 more size to 33's. Has anyone got this lift and what shocks did you go with? Pics would be nice also. Thanks.

Check out the For Sale section, alot of times members get rid of fairly new shocks cheap when upgrading to bigger lifts.

Talked to Rough Country today about the 2.5 inch basic lift and found out that you have to purchase the 2.2 performance shocks. I though it came with shock relocation brackets so you can use OEM Shocks. I asked if I could purchase the hydro 8000 ones and use them and they said only the 2.2 ones. Guess I'll just get the 1.75 inch one with the hydro shocks!

I tink if you go with the 1.75" lift you will want to go a little bigger fairly quickly, as mentioned check out the for sale section, pick up yourself some rubi shocks and save for a proper lift or even a budget boost later,

I'm deathly afraid of needing to replace my driveshafts and the cost of control arms and such, I want to clear 33's comfortably but sistane an agressive stance. this does seem like it would alieve those issues.

Hmmm, I dont know who you talked to but, the 2.5" basic kit comes with shock relocation brackets to use your stock shocks. So, for $135 you get everything you need.

We also have mid package that adds, ext. sway bar links and rear track bar bracket $179

Noob question here! Is this something the average Joe can do at home? Or is this a skilled type of mod? I can turn a wrench...but I'd rather not get in over my head. The male simpleton in me looks at this kit and thinks...hey I can do this!???

32's clear with no lift unless you're running something wider than 265's. I'm running no lift with 33x11.50's with the fenders chopped and I have no rubbing issues even at full flex.

So you can purchase that kit with the Hydro Shocks...what would the price be for that?
