Default M.O.R.E. or Daystar 1" Body Lift?

I can't decide between the Daystar BL or the MORE. I'm leaning towards the MORE but the metal on metal friction makes me nervous, and rust in between the mounts seems like something that isn't easy to check up on.

Can any owners of either make an argument for one or the other?

I have the M.O.R.E body lift...Not sure if rust would be an issue since the pucks are aluminum...Before installing the pucks you could maybe put a light coat of sealant/RTV between the chasis, pucks & Body to reduce moisture and the chance of developing rust...I chose the MORE because of the material it was made from and the simple design and install (only needed one bolt) as compared to the Daystar (which uses more bolts, but does make it look as close to stock)...Overall I have been happy with mine and no issues thus far...

There shouldnt be any friction if the install was done correctly and the bolts were tightened enough to avoid any play or movement....

I assumed the pucks were aluminum, but aluminum on steel still poses a problem for the steel. If we had aluminum body mounts I wouldn't be worried

I'm not really worried about the look, more the functionality when I step up to 37's. I want the pinch seams as far away from the tires as possible...I'll still grind them down just to be safe but I want the BL as insurance.

Even without play/movement I'm worried about moisture getting in between the pucks. I live in the NW where it's insanely wet 7 months out of the year, and I frequently go mudding/puddle rampaging in the mountains.

Aside from the RTV recommendation, you could probably spray the pucks w/rust preventative undercoating as well as the chasis and body, that might work...

pretty sure you've convinced me unless someone with Daystars speaks up

That entire basin fills when we get ~.5" of rain to a depth of 3 ft. Does mud act as a rust preventative?

I have the MORE. I have had no problems with it. It was easy to install and would chose it again.
