Some more Lift advise needed
Hi,
I read the FAQ's and searched, lurked etc., but I am still a little confused. I really do not intend on doing the full on flexing thru Moab canyons and what not, just moderate four wheeling with some flex. But I am unsure of what lift to get, I read where someone is going to throw on 35s on the stock height, but that seems like problems down the road. The word "budget" in lift kits has me a little concerned, sounds like their going to send a 2x4 and some plumbers tape to hold it together.
I too eventually want to run 35's but want to have the gearing ready to go before throwing on the biggies. And I do not want to skimp now and then pay more later on cause I skimped the first go around. A combo suspension/body would be alright, but I would rather it all be suspension, just less trouble. So this is where I need your advise, a lift you think would suit my purpose the best.
Thanks again

Crows jeep i would recommend you getting what i got. 2.5" teraflex lift with 9550 shocks. This kit will accomadate for the 35's you want to put on. Plus you wont have to worry about the angle of your drive shafts or replacing rear track bars etc. what it sounds like is your like me. you want to do moderate trail riding without the abuse of your jeep. And the price of it is reasonable to. how does $700 sound for all the components you need for the tire size you want. THE ONLY THING you will need to for rubbing issues cut the air dam in your front bumper so when you turn the wheel it wont rub on it. Other things you want to consider is IF your jeep is going to aftermarket bumpers, winch etc (bascially any heavy weight) on your jeep you could fix it by adding suspension spacers. Stay away from body lifts. hope this helps
