Anyone know if this is a decent Jack?

Also I'm a little bit of of numbnut when it comes to these jacks. Where's the jack supposed to be placed as an anchor point if I want to raise the front or rear

That is kinda pricey. Do you have a Harbor Freight near you. They always have high lifts for a good price.

EDIT: With stock bumpers it will do you no good. Most aftermarket bumpers have places on them for lifting points.

I was just on 4wd.com and I saw that the 48" Hi-Lift is much cheaper so that's exactly what I'll be buying.

So where is the jack supposed to placed when lifting on a stock bumper?

Stock bumpers: rear is only plastic, front is a plastic shell over a very thin steel channel. Rear wouldn't support it. Front would likely hold, but would screw up the plastic pretty good!

Sliders would hold, but any shifting will put a heck of a dent in your door!
