Default Yakima Roof Rack, Side Steps, Hitch, & Harness, Fuel Door, Mito Mirror

I just got my 2010 Dk. Charcoal Pearl Rubicon Unlimited on December 31st, 2009. I ordered it loaded w/ Nav, Leather, Dual Top, Side Airbags. Basically, everything except the Hitch, which I added. So far, I love it. A lot of the items I'll be buying/installing IMO should have come standard, especially on a $38,000+ vehicle.

The week I installed the Yakima 1A Raingutter, 58" Crossbox, FatCat 6, Lock Sets & 50" Fairing. I like it, just wish the rain guards went all the way back for so I could install the setup over the hardtop and not the Freedom Top Panels. Oh well.

I removed Rock Rails from my 2010 Rubicon Unlimited and installed factory Sport/Sahara Side Steps. I didn't really want to but much more practical for my needs...
-I can easily reach my Roof Rack for my Snow Boards.
-My wife is 7 months pregnant.
-And, I work with my dad who is elderly.

I also installed the Mopar Hitch & Wiring Harness

And, I installed the Mopar Fuel Door in Black

Lastly, I installed Mito Gentax Rear View Mirror (still need to connect wires)

Soon, I will be installing a JL Audio Stealthbox, hd600/4, hd750/1, PPI Components, LockPick, PAC piece, Rear View Camera

I would be interested to see how the roof rack works in that configuration. I want to try something similar. Congrats on the new JK.

It works great and helps the Hard Top look a little less plain. I originally was planning on doing a Track setup or the MBRP Roof Rack, but decided (a) I didn't want to drill into the top (both), (b) to save some money (MBRP), (c) I liked the idea of being able to remove it without any permanent modification (damage) to the Hard Top. I might move both front and back forward more just so the Fairing on the front sits on the flat part of the Freedom Top Panels and not over the ribbed part. Maybe that will even hel a little more on wind noise. The Fairing did help though. Overall, I'm happy with the fit/practicality/look/money spend.

That's one of the reasons I'm probably going to bite the bullet and drill into the hard top to install a roof rack, but like you mentioned, I would lose the removability.

Picked up some more stuff from the dealership today. I got the Winter Mats, Tail Light Guards, Front & Rear Mud Guards, & Grab handles. I installed everything but the Mud Guards today. I'll put those on tomorrow. I might return the Mopar Winter Mats. They look really cool but don't fit that great in my opinion and don't have enough coverage. I'm probably going to also get/order the Heated Seat Kit and the 2-Way system for the Remote Starter. I also exchanged the Rear View Camera for a different model. It is a flush mount key hole type. I'll either mount it to the center of the bumper under the Spare Tire or install it in the Spare Wheel Center Cap. More Pics tomorrow...

If by removability you mean the hard top. I have yet to try it, but I will this summer. I have a set of regular Yakima railgrab (??) I saw this some where else where someone put these on the roll-bars and locked them down. I think that has a good chance to work. But then you have to continually switch towers or by a whole separate system.
