Are there any members of the forum running 35"s on 18" wheels. How's it ride on and off road?

I went 17" cause I like the look of a little bit bigger wheel than usual and the bigger the wheel the more exspensive the tire. Prices are pretty steep for 18's if i can remember correctly, never fully understood why thats just how it is.

Check out the 35" Wheel thread in the Show Off of the Show and Tell subforum.
There are plenty of JKs with 18" wheels in there.

I wouldn't run 18's offroad with a tire shorter than 35s. The rim are exposed enough as it is. If you run 12.5 wide tires the additional width provides decent rim protection and they still fit on the 7.5" width.

I have 18" wheels with what used to be 33" tires. I'm thinking of going with 35" tires as well, but yes, they're very expensive. It's also much easier to find a variety of tires for 17" wheels. I've actually thought about selling my wheels and buying a new set of 17's. I'd actually save quite a bit of money. If I keep the wheels, I'll probably go with the duratracs.
