Default AEV Rear Bumper / Gobi Racks

Is the AEV Rear Bumper compatible with the Gobi Racks?
I'm not sure if this is how all racks mount, but I see this one mounts directly on the chassis? Doesn't that interfere with the AEV Rear Bumper that mounts all around the chassis or something like that?

This is what I'm talking about

It looks to me like the bracket that AEV refers to as the anti-rotation bracket would interfere with the Gobi mount. However, it looks like there's enough material on that Gobi mount to allow for some trimming. just my $.02

Maybe the Garvin rack could work?

I just finished installing my AEV rear bumper and tire carrier. I can tell you that the mounting bracket shown in the above picture will have to be modified to work with the AEV bumper. I have the rear Currie Antirock sway bar which mounts to the same spot as the picture shows the Gobi bracket mounting to the frame. The AEV bumper also uses the two stock mounting points. Currie was smart enough to design their bracket so you can easily cut a 1/4" off of the mounting bracket and place the bracket on top of a bumper mount, but the tube on the AEV bumper wraps around and mounts in front of the two holes. I had to have a half moon shape cut out to allow for the conflict. On the above picture, you would have to cut off the brace in front of the two bolts, cut the half moon shape to allow for the bumper tube and have the brace welded back on the back side of the mounting bracket. I will post pics later on a separate thread.

There is now a Gobi rack/AEV rear bumper working solution that was developed by Gobi. It is a no drill solution that allows to the products to work together without loss of functionality of either product.
