Default Best Coils

O.K, so I have been running a RE 4.5 lift on the JK for a while now, but never got around to figuring out why the driver sit coils has a bow in it and rubs on the bump stop when fully extended or compressed.I had a good look at them a while ago and seen that they are not actually RE coils up front they are Cage. I believe that there was a mix up at the shop that I bought the lift from. The question that I have is should I go with the RE 4.5 coils or should I try something different,Teraflex or something else.......Im running a bumper and winch so there is some added weight up front.

If you have the complete 4.5" RE lift kit, you should probably just get the correct RE coils.

If you mix in a different brand, you truly will have a Frakenlift that will be hard for any manufacturer to support.

Well if you paid for a 4.5 RE and the shop installed something else, at the very least go get your coils! That's a pretty big oversight to stack in the wrong coils...especially if they did the rear coils @ the same time

I would put the RE springs in, Hopefully they will provide the correct spring height to match the back. If you go another direction you will need to make sure you maintain a level stance.
