Default Warn Jk rock crawler bumpers

who has these on their JK. are they happy with this bumper. I have the front bumper and am looking to get the rear bumper with tire carrier. First I love the looks. Bumper ,bush grill and warn winch. I dislike the finish. The powder coat flaked off after a year. Rust coming through. Allot of money for a product with great looks but bad paint job. I ended up getting it line x along with my rock rails. Maybe they should have line x it right from the start. It will not stop me from getting the rear bumper. For the price I should get a better product. Just wanted to rant.

I have one also. I feel your pain I'm in the same jeep. I also wish it was a bit lightter. It droped my front almost 2". Now I'm wishing I went with a stubby, but that is the way it goes.

same bumper and have the rear wth tire carrier. very happy wth bumper, it has taken some very hard hits on the trail and rocks and not a single dent.

now the finish is crap, flaked off under a year, called warn and they said to send back and they would recoat at my expense for shipping, yea right. i just did 4 coats of dupli color untill spring then get it recoated locally.

the finish is the only complaint from me

Ya the powder coat is crap. same thing with me . they sent another bumper and that one would not fit so put the old one back on and line-x after wards love the look. when I get the back bumper I might line-x it right of the bat.

im assuming u were talking to me.

i love the lockers. i only use them when needed though. there were times when i had both tires driver side off the ground in off camber ditch. 4low could not pull me out, buyt locke the frnt and rear and pull on out like it was nothing.

if u have the d30 front, then running 5.13 gears, 37s, and locked, u will start running into issues like when will the front axle break or ujoints. there is alot u can do to make it stronger. to be hoinest u may want to consider replacing the entire axle assembly front instead of beefin up the d30. i think prices have come down low enough its feasable nowfor replacement wth gears and locker

you could talk wth mkjeep and he could probably tell u more on the front

OK, d-30 runnin 37's. I'm a careful wheeler, but I wheel mostly muddy trails. I have a lockright auto locker in front. Worked crazy good on 35's in the rocks and on the trails around here. If your a trail peep or rarely see off-road, you'll be fine with the d-30 and 37's. If your a rock monkey, stick with 35's and wheel carefully. I have spare stock axles front and rear for the time being. I do know this, in the future, a d-60 will go up front. Depends on when I blow the 30. The stress a locked 30 on rocks will be too great on rocks if wheeled frequently and if you start throwing alot of money at it, you'll end up spending a helluva lot of money where you coulda just bought a pro-rock 44 or 60.
