Default teraflex and rustys lift question

i was reading on the forums a member installed a rustys 3.25 basic lift on a 2-door JK and took measurements of the actual lift height he got. He reported almost exactly 3.25 inches of lift Does anyone know exactly how much lift you get with the teraflex 3" lift with shocks? i hear with teraflex you always get more lift than what is advertised. i know that whatever numbers are given will go down with the addition of aftermarket bumpers. Anyone got any idea?

Tera Flex 3in will give you an average of 4in on a 2dr. Members attest to this and it's also stated in their literature. I have a TF 4in on my 4dr, it gave me abit over 5in. If you want the most lift for your $$$, go Teraflex. Plus, they are on here all the time and will make sure your happy.

The SEARCH button is always a good place to start :

Look at the posting by TF.

Keep in mind the exact amount will vary depending on the total vehicle weight (aftermarket products).

From what I've read, the TF coil lift should straighten out the factory rake so on an unlimited, you should get 3.5 inches in front and 2.5 in back (3 inch average). But that will likely be 0.5 - 1 inch more on a 2 door.

As soon as the tax refund comes in, I'll be pulling the trigger on the TF coil lift myself. Just haven't decided what shocks to go with. So many choices

They are a personal preference, not a must have. If you can deal with the crappy handling, then don't worry about it.

Getting married next month so I'm on the " honey don't spending money before the wedding budget" , would the first thing I need be a adjustable track bar ya think, then control arms?

I put a TF 3" lift on my JKU with 33" (32.25" actual diameter) tires and got 5.75" total lift.

It was more than I wanted or planned so I changed out the springs for TF 2.5" springs and I am now just over 4" lift.
