Best Cold Weather Shocks...???
I have been hearing that some shocks just really can't take cold temps like those found in Alaska, Canada, and parts of the lower 48. I know they aren't good shocks, but I've already had one of my stock X shocks fail within the first year. It seems that in a lot of shocks the seals are not able to expand and contract properly and causes them to fail prematurely. I personally know somebody (in AK) that has had this happen with Skyjacker as well as Bilstein shocks. He's switched to Rancho and so far they are doing well. I am planning on a TF coil lift w/ TF shocks, but I would like to hear from those who have run them in cold country. When I say "cold country" I am talking about fairly consistent sub zero temps all winter long.
What shocks do you have that are holding up to cold conditions...???
Thanks......

I am in Edmonton, Canada and -30's are pretty common all winter. I am running the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with the Teralfex shocks and have not had any issues. I like them better than the stock Rubi shocks
