I have the 305/70/17 Terra Grapplers. I am very happy with them. They are a great daily driver tire and decent off road. I would prefer a mud tire when on the trails, but that only happens once in a while. I drve on the road daily.

My only complaint on them is that they do not wear. I want to go to a 35" tire but these things, even after 35,000 miles, still look brand new.

If you want a nice all terrain, this is a great option for you.

The Terra Grapplers are very quiet. They're killer in rain, snow, and dirt. They suck in the mud. They're an excellent choice for a DD that sees some light wheeling.

The loud ones you're thinking of are the mud grapplers.

Apparently the size that I a m looking for is not available or the size that I got from the forum member was incorrect, and the size the dealer is looking for me is 295x70 R18. I am getting mixed feedback on these tires that they hum a lot, and I don't want to get stuck with tires that never wear out and hum a lot.

Easyryder, you should do a search on the forum for them. I'm running 295x70 R17 Terra grapplers and they absolutely do NOT hum. I have 8000 miles on them and rotated at 5000.

It's the Mud Grapplers that hum... A LOT! (I'm still getting a set)

I have no Idea about sizing, but you could always go to Nitto's website and check out the availibility of the size you want.
