Yes.

I ran bfg allterrains in that size with spacers for about 5 months and just today actually removed the spacers and they just fit. A couple things to note is that I am not running a rear swaybar which could affect clearance, not sure. I do have slight contact with the front swaybar and front lower control arms. Only at full lock though. I like the look of the tires under the fenders. I am happy without the spacer.

I measured my BFG allterrains of the same size on the rim and they are actually 33.5-34".

How long have you been driving without a rear sway bar?

Have you noticed any changes in road manners? You should.

There is a noticeable difference but nothing I don't feel I can't handle (that includes evasive maneuvers which I have had to make). I am able to totally lift my drivers side tire about a foot off the ground when making a u-turn and accelerating out of it at just the right time (don't ask me how i know!!!) I have been running without one for about 8-9 months.

Thanks for the replies.

I want to go to 35's, but I actually like the rims on my rubi.
and I do not want to use spacers.

I was gonna go with 33" KM2's, but the duratracs are a touch cheaper and they are 35's.

jeepnxj3 did you have to trim the pinch seam?

35x12.5 on the stock rims. Why not go with spacers? No different than a wheel with different offset, plus i think the wider stance looks more aggressive. Handling is a little looser, but I'm not complaining.

This would be YouTube worthy...

But for the meanwhile, let's submit this to the Mythbusters file...
