Default Can't buy 6 u-bolts

So I bought a used steering stabilizer. A dual tube set up. I know a dual isn't needed but I like the look of it. It is missing some of the u-bolts due to removal.(stripped/lost) So I figure I would call the manufacture to get them. After going to every part and hardware store around. I ask could I buy these after explaining my problem. "Nope sure can't" is the answer I get. I ask why not? answer "We just don't open one up; you have to buy a whole new set up" My reply "So for 6 u-bolts I have to buy a $150.00 part"? proudly "YES"

Now I know that times are ROUGH in the COUNTRY but damn for 6 u-bolts I have to buy the whole system. Come on!! A sale is a sale. Be it for $10 or $10,000 It's just that little bit more. So to this company... I have nothing to say except for everyone who ask me about you I will not give you a good review and if you lose one sale because of what I say that will make me happy. So in the future you might want to help your customers out.

Maybe I'm making more out of this than what is needed..??

Maybe check at an Iron & Metal shop, or a Bolt & Machine Shop. I have a few of those in my area and if they don't have the bolts in stock, they will be happy to get them. Be a lot less expensive that way.

That's a total crock, have you tried contacting the RC rep on here? Did you buy it from a vendor or RC directly?

X2 I have had nothing but EXCELLENT customer service from ROUGH COUNTRY. A few items came damaged from an order I placed and Ben sent replacements immediately.

I do not Waste my time to make up stories. So no it's not a CROCK.

If you read the post from the very first line you would have seen...
"So I bought a used steering stabilizer. A dual tube set up."

I did not talk to the rep on here @ jk-forum. I called them direct as I stated in my op.

I wasn't asking them to just give them to me. I was asking to buy them and pay for the shipping. I figured it would cost around 30-40 dollars. I was ok with that. I wasn't ok with "Nope, we don't open the boxes" huh "You would have to buy the whole kit" That's not cool.

I understand that everyone has a different experience when contacting different companys. I am just telling the story of my exrerience with this company.

before this turns into a bitch fest i think you got talkin to the wrong guy. i work at nissan and we install pro-comp lifts on new Titans and every part has a number that can be ordered seperatly. i realize you aren't dealing with pro-comp but it should be possible.
