Default Another JK build I want to share (34's with 2")

Just wanted to share my build details. I will post pictures before and after. The build will be a 2007 4dr JK with 4.10 gears (stock 4.10) here is a list of items I have ordered today:

2.5" ProComp lift
3/4" front leveling spacer (for 9000lb warn Power-Plant)
ProComp steering stabilizer
ProComp 16x8 7089 wheels
Nitto Terra Grappler 295/75/16
Spare tire spacer and brake light lift

I know this is a pretty standard lift and tire combo, but I thought I would share anyway.

The only thing I need help on is a programer for the spedometer and gearing, any suggestions? (I will also do a search).

Thanks

use the AEV Procal for a programmer. Its cheap and does so many other things that it pays for itself.

nthinuf,

What rim are you running? I am going with 8" and I am being told the 295/75 will be 33.5" tall.

Yeah, 285/75 R16 is just over 33", so a 295 with same ratio will be closer to 33.3 or 33.4.

You areeeeeee correcttttt

Just a quick FYI My 295/70/17s Nittos were supposed to measure 33.3, when measured for my tire recal for my superchip they actually measured 32 1/4 from floor to the top of the tire

You guys are looking at the mfg's specs. Very few tires are the size they state after mounting and with the weight of the vehicle on them.

My rims are 16x8.5, running around 30psi.
(measured with a yardstick, and verified with a procal and gps...)

My new Maxxis Bighorns are spec'd at 34.6, the actual height on my JK is 33.6.

I hear the new MTR/K's are true sizes, but I haven't seen any to measure

I would suggest the Superchips Flashpaq. It does everything the procal does plus extra horsepower and torque gains. The gains are not astronomical like with diesel tuners but they are a noticeable and help the JK in every way.
