i know theres got to be some good stories from you all about your wife or girlfriend getting jealous over the relationship between you and our jeep. lets hear em'.

i picked up some of those euro light guards for around my headlights, parking lights and turn signals. my girlfriend came out into the garage wondering what i was doing in the garage for so long. she walked up next to me and said "where the hell is my ring? your jeep can have 6 but you cant even get me 1?" so i handed her the chrome plated accent rings that i took off it and handed them to here and said "heres 2. love you hun.." she just stomped in the house. needless to say... one of us, *cough* me *cough* slept on the couch that night.

 

It's to the point where the extra money "better be going to my bling fund". Enough said...

Unfortunately, I think I've created a monster. Every time I get a mod I use the rule of "divide by 2!" so, what ever the price is, I cut it in half. The problem/ monster is she found a coupe of reciepts.
Now she is an accoutant!

 

Not any more cause her 4 door Deep Water Blue was delivered today. So she has a 4 door and I have a Rubi.

Life is good except for the payments

 

My wife thinks I love the jeep more than here.
I work out of town during week. When I am home I spend my time shopping for parts for the jeep and learning new things on the jeep forums.
She feel neglected

Same here... im just waiting for the "if it was between me and your jeep, what would you choose?" looks like it'll be another night on the couch. lol. i also spend a pretty fair amount of my day researching the JK. my favorite is shopping for things i know i cant afford

 

Mine thinks I'm "obsessed" with cars. I'm either in the shop working on the minin Baja car for my school or looking at cars or lookin at parts or tellin her about cars...at least thats how she feels. she gets tired of it. She does like the Jeep tho...thinks its fine the way it is(i.e. mod money is a waste), but likes it.

 

I don't have the jelous wife. In fact, it's the complete opposite. I waited twenty frickin' years for my first Jeep, I modded the hell out of it, and my wife has stolen it. Even my neighbors say " Man, that's a nice Jeep you wife has"

 

My g/f was so tired of me spending money on my car one year, that for Christmas she got me one of those little nitro powered r/c trucks to distract me. Little thing was a ROCKET! 70 mph on the straights and would drive through/over anything. Next thing she knew I was buying a bigger motor for it and bigger tires, for both dirt and street. She about lost her mind...
