Default 0"-3" disconnects-have a question

So, lets say I picked up a 2.5" coil lift in the future and it comes with the 0"-3" disconnects. Lets say I then put a 1" M.O.R.E. body lift on the vehicle. I'm technically at 3.5" on the lift right? So would the disconnects still be right or do I need 3"-6" disconnects?

i dont believe so.. i may be wrong but.. the body sits on the frame.. so when u do a body lift its not adding an inch to ur suspension, just the distance between the body and frame which makes the overall ride height heigher... if say it was a spacer for the coils and u added it then it would make ur suspesion height larger and wouldnt effect the distance from the frame to the body..

basically what i am saying is that ur sway bar is connected to the frame and ur not increasing the height of the frame off the ground, but just the body by adding the body lift.. so i would believe u can keep the disconnects and not have to go up in link size..

body lifts help put larger tires in the wells.. has nothing to do with increasing actual suspension so u should be good..

sktdarkstar8 is completely right. the distance wouldn't change with a body lift. although you would have 3.5" in total lift, it's still only 2.5" of suspension lift, which is what you base your link length on

Also do some research on the particular lift you are looking at, since some coils are known to be tall. (TF 2.5" coils give over 3" on a 4door, up to 4" on a 2door) If you end up with an extra inch from the coils, will you still need the BL...

Well said...all OME lifts are 2.5" but measure over 3". Adjustable discos would be nice....
