Default Tuner and gearing questions

I am about ready to pull the trigger on 5.13's. I was also planning on getting a flashpaq.

I started a thread hoping for advice. Here is the link to that:https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modified-jk-tech-2/4-88-5-13-best-me-117257/.

I am now wondering if I should just do the 4.88's with the flashpaq or if I should still do the 5.13's. Am I best to regear at all?

Also, with the flashpaq, does it stay plugged in all the time or just when programming it? May be a dumb question, but I have never seen one before to know how it works.

Thanks for the help.

The tire measures at 33.8". I am intending to go to 35's when these wear out.

The Flashpaq only needs to be plugged in when installing your tune.

As for the 5.13s, you have way too much making them the way too go.

More weight with an unlimited.

Winch, Front and rear heavy aftermarket bumpers.

Plans to tow.

Plans for 35" tires.

Automatic Transmission.

If you had a D44 up front this would be all laid out for 5.38s.
