Default Rear driveshaft removal (factory)

Im in the garage fighting with this damn shaft I removed all the the bolts, I see the two holes on the backside I tried using a punch and 5lb sledge and nothing what the hell

Just keep hitting it with the BFH, I took me 20 minutes of hammering to break it free of the flange, some PB blaster or wd40 will help

I just got it off and dont ask me how it wasnt smart but it worked

im gonna be doing this come spring so howd you get em off.

let me guess, you tied a wrench on the bolt, started the engine, and put it in drive letting the rotating shaft force it off?

Time bomb diffused heads up to you guys with 2drs running 3" lifts keep an eye on them factory shafts I got about 25k out of this one and it got to the point were it felt like it was about to go

Tranny end







Axle end was still good

Yes sir just in time unfortunately I had to put another factory shaft in, I spent way to much money on other mods it should get me by til I come up with more cash
