Sheet metal inner fenders
I have orderd the OVE coil overs with hyd bumps and the rear lever susp.I have not talked to Mel about this yet.I have noticed in all the pictures of there
set up ,no one has the inner plastic fenders. I did notice on one of Mel's Facebook pics, there was a sheet metal inner fender. I will be needing some sort of protection for my engine compartment.I live In BC Canada ,we wheel in some pretty wet and muddy places.
Does anyone know who has done somthing like this?

seen it done to a Tj, it was pretty overkill since they used like 3/16" plate. I'd imagine it would be a bit easier to work with thinner material and get the same protection. I would be interested in doing this on mine

I have a sheet metal friend, who has been in the trade for 43 years.When I finish my build.I will see what I can come up with. If anyting can be done with tin, he can do it.I will keep you posted.I will also send you some pictures if you want. I put the thread out to get some ideas
