Default A few rig-planning questions

Hey guys,

I just figured out my tax return last night, so it looks like this will be the year of the Jeep

I've done a rough planning of my rig (4 door unlimited x auto) in the past, but now I need to get some more advice about a few parts I had questions about:

1. I'm planning on the Teraflex 4" full flexarm lift. I've read that I need a new front driveshaft, but the rear is fine as is. Is that true? Also, if I get a new front driveshaft, do I have to modify or swap out the transmission skid plate?

2. I'm planning on running 35s for now, but possibly running 37s in the future. Do you generally recommend 5.13 or 5.38 gears for this application? This will remain my daily driver.

3. My first phase will be lift, regearing, axleshaft and airlocker upgrade front and rear, gussets and sleeves. I might do the lift myself, but I'm going to take it to a shop to do the gears, lockers, and sleeves. What kind of labor costs should I factor in for this work?

4. What is the most recommended gear brand? I've heard about staying away from a few so I'm not sure which brand to get.

Thanks for all your help!

Micah
