Default Anyone have the MBRP catback?

I want to buy this exhaust but my laptop speakers are terrible so the exhaust doesn't sound to good... Any opinions on this exhaust? Possibly opinions on the sound level or pics? I'd really like to buy the black one too. I think it would look good on my yellow Jk

You will find quite a few satisfied customers running these systems on their JK's without complaint. Our systems are not overly loud, but provide a nice deep tone, that makes the 3.8L V6 sound less like a minivan and more like a Jeep should.

If you have a pair of head phones to plug into your laptop you may get a better idea of what it sounds like...Still nothing compared to hearing it in person though.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Steve

I just intalled the MBRP offroad exhaust. It's awesome. It has great sound and gave back some needed power that was lost with the 35's. I called David at Northridge and he hooked me up!

Glad to hear you like your new exhaust system! Also nice to see you noticed the power and helped with your larger tires. Thanks for the feed back!

i want one bad but its $400... id love to hear it in person. maybe ill run into someone when i go to school. im driving from vermont to arizona... there must be someone between there that has it. it looks great and ive heard nothing but good news about it. im just afraid of a new exhaust sounding like an old honda with a hole in the muffler... but im trying to keep in mind that its a 3.8v6 not a 5.2v8... hey steve, do you have this same one on your jeep?

JKmudslinger09 - Trust me, the MBRP is the most refined sound. I have not heard one in person and I cannot state anything on volume, but from reviews and rage about it - it is supposedly the best system out there.

I currently run a flowmaster, and will get an MBRP when the flowmaster rusts out.

WARNING: This is gonna sound like an add for MBRP!

One of my first mods was the original location SS muffler by MBRP. I was a little worried as I had previously owned an aftermarket BORLA for a land cruiser and it ruined the truck (couldn't stand the volume of sound in the cabin...horribly loud, painfully loud) The MBRP is a nice mellow throaty sound that takes away the "mini van" feel and makes the JK a little more trucky (but not severe!).

MBRP also makes some other HIGH quality add ons such as:

Rock Rails

Light bars and bumpers

Steve Nairn has been great to deal with, without a doubt one of the two nicest guys I have had the pleasure of dealing with in the build up of my JK. (hint: the other guy works for the web site in my sig.)

I just put the Off Road Stainless exhaust on my '10 and I love it.
It gives a good sound and I can feel the difference in power.
I have not seen any increase in MPG but with the sound I have found that my foot has been a little heavier (what can I say I like the sound).

Got mine from Northridge and it took me about an hour and 15 minutes.
Do a search on me and I have a photo of the tail section.
The Off Road is hidden so you will not see it from the rear like a stock muffler.
