Default Monster vs. Magnus

OK.... I am getting close to beginning phase 1 of my build. I am still stuck on wheel choices. I have narrowed it down a little bit and my options are the XD Monster wheels and the Ultra Magnus wheels.

These wheels will be going on a dark charcoal unlimited with one day a 2.5-3 inch lift.

Let me know. BTW the tires will be 35 inch KM2 or trail grapplers.(but that's a different poll)

Comments/stories and pics of yours are welcome

I like the design of the Magnus better, but I prefer the quality of KMC over Ultra wheels.

Isn't there a significant different in price? That is usually an important factor.

If you are going to wheel your Jeep, pick the one that is least exposed to trail rash. If you are mostly for the look, I'm kind of partial to the Ultra Magnus.

From what I can find online, the monsters are about $30 more a wheel. If I go through a local shop, there is no real difference in price

The monster rim lip makes me nervous. Lots of outer surface area for rock rash.

I really like the looks of the Monster. If I ever replace my wheels, those will be on my list of possibles.

Can you readily get the Magnus right now? I looked at the Magnus a couple months back and Ultra didn't have any in the right lug pattern available.

I didn't want to wait forever to get the Magnus,so I ended up with the Ultra Goliaths instead.
