Default Teraflex 2.5" lift ?

Hey all

Gettin that nice tax return back soon. Im putting together a list of parts to buy and the teraflex 2.5" coil lift is on there.

My question is... It comes with a rear track bar bracket... Would it be wise to buy a front track bar bracket?

Just FYI, so far my list consists of...

315/70R17 BFG A/T
Teraflex 2.5" lift
Superwinch LP8500
AEV snorkel
Smittybuilt cargo restraint system
Pavement ends emergency top
Rugged Ridge RRC Rocker Gaurds
Axle Gussets
Possibly an onboard air system

When I asked about it everybody adviced me to fit an adjustable front trackbar. This one:

I would definately include at least a front adjustable track bar. You can get by with just a bracket in the rear. Adjustable front lower control arms will allow you to increase the castor and decrease the flighty steering after a lift.

Hey man,

I have the same kit, and I ran it without anything extra for almost a year with no problems with 35's. My steering was flighty and my front axle was slightly off center so I got a JKS front adjustable trackbar to center the axle and a pair of TF Front lower flex arms to adjust caster and my front end is much more solid now and steering is much better. But all in all, before I added this extra stuff the ride was bearable and the front axle was only off a 1/2 inch. If you want to try and save some $$, try installing the kit first and see how you like then decide if you want to upgrade. My best mod thus far is def the lift, cant go wrong with TF! Good luck and make sure you post some pics when you get everything on

I have a TF 2.5 lift, and I'd recommend front adjustable track bar and front lower control arms (flex arms). It will greatly improve your handling.
