Opinions on 2010 Liberty?
So I finally convinced my wife to give up the minivan. She doesn't really like my 2008 JK (too "rough"), but is open to a Liberty. Since the Liberty is sort of a feminine Wrangler, it might be a good choice. I thought this would be a good audience to get opinions - or jokes.
Any thoughts you have on pros & cons, options to get/avoid, etc would be appreciated.

No jokes from my side. My wife has a 2008 Liberty. She loves it, and some more aggressive tires made it worthy enough to get to tougher fishin holes and camp sites. It's smoother than the wrangler, but it's tight for me compared to the wrangler. It wasn't a tough sell after she turned down another wrangler. Good luck.
I have a 2009 Liberty Sport 4wd as a company vehicle. I didn't have much to choose from (AWD Taurus, AWD Caravan, or 4wd Liberty), but I like it a lot. When it hits 70,000 miles, I'm going to buy it for my fiance.
We rented one for a week in northern California and liked it a lot. The interior isn't as spacious as some others in its class, but it was built like a tank and very comfortable. The current styling is infinitely better than the previous generation too.
My Dad bought one for my mom a couple years back and they LOVE it as previously posted it will take some decent trail riding! just get some better tires! rides smooth I let them pack it down with camping supplies when we go lol!
At least talk her into a test drive of a 4 door. The longer wheelbase does ride smoother. Worth a try any way.
If she is buying it strictly as a DD and street use, the liberty may be the better choice for her.
My wife had a 2004 Liberty and loved it to death... literally.
We traded it in on Monday and got a 2006 Commander. We both love it. If you have lots of gear, pets, kids, etc, it's a great vehicle. 3 rows of seats, semi decent fuel economy (comparable to the lib) and lots of room.
