Default Stiff gas pedal fix?

Hello everyone!

Just got my first Jeep and man it is fun!! I need a fix for my gas pedal, its to stiff. Is there a spring or something I can change. Would a gas pedal from a Dodge Ram work with Jeeps dirve by wire system?

Thanks.

Sprint Booster Power Converter eliminates the delay in the electronic throttle, or I here Toyota has a fix for gas pedals.

Lol, I suppose I could one pretty cheap too!
Thank for the second link. I'll see if the dealer can do something.
I really doubt it tho.

Default Fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok took a 800 mile trip wanted to saw my own leg off or punch myself in the face for not opting for cruise. anyway got really old having to keep that much pressure on the pedal for so long. so i figured what the hell i removed it from jeep took it apart and there are two springs inside.one big and one small the small is inside the big so i removed the big spring put it all back together with just the small spring and reinstalled in jeep oooooooooooo so smooth and easy to drive long distance without cruise. "NOTE" did not change throttle response or gain any hp or anything just easier on the leg

How did you get the gas pedal off? I see that there is a small nut on the bottom of the pedal that I can reach and I think there is another small nut at the top of the pedal but I can't figure out how to get access to it.
