Default Shrockworks Rear Bumper At Last!

It's been a long wait, but my Shrockworks rear bumper is here.

I just got off the phone with TORN and I hope we can get it on in the next week, weather cooperating. I'm still waiting on the jerry can and trails racks, which Jim at Shrockworks says should be in within a couple weeks.

Bottom line: Long wait, but worth it. This is an exceedingly well-made bumper. Once I get it on I will post up new pic's.

Nice! I live like .5 miles away from Shrockworks Houston fabricating place. Need to swing by sometime when I'm ready for bumpers and take a look and talk with them!

I'm a poor example because there was a screw-up and my order did get properly placed into their computer. That was April of last year. Expecting a long wait, I didn't even call them until early October. They straightened out the error and now I'm receiving the bumper. The employee who caused the error apparently had a history of this and no longer works for Shrockworks. Most folks are getting rears in 3-4 months.

And for Redneck's satisfaction ...

It seem they always have an excuse why they take forever. But this still always take forever.

I will be (and have often been) the first to stand up and say to anyone who doesn't wish to wait for their product, or who doesn't want to have their charge card charged up front, to look elsewhere. I will also be the first to put this bumper up against any other bumper out there. There is none better, or even as good. Not even LOD, as good as it is. It has been worth the wait.

Never say anything bad about the product. Just the way the do business is very poor. They charge you and then an unknown amount of time later you get it. If they flat out said you will get in three months and then got it I would be fine with it.

Woo-hoo, I'm a dunce! Yesterday I returned from a trip to Georgia and I had two voice messages to call a shipper for delivery of my "bull bar." Fortunately it was the bumper in the picture above, just mislabeled on the outside of the package. I also checked e-mail and had Fed-Ex tracking numbers for two packages. But today the trucker only delivered one. I asked and he said that was all he had. Well, I just re-checked that e-mail, and it's actually for another shipment of two packages--my jerry can and trail racks!!!!!!

Nice!!!

I would suggest while you're wating to wire up the backup lights they included and test them. I had one that wouldn't turn on unless you flicked it. They sent me a new set but you can't get them on without pulling the bumper back off.

This may help too

Seems like you've been waiting forever for that thing!!!
