Default Tow strap question

Evening all! Very new here and have a fairly simple question.

I was curious if you guys had any suggestions on a very basic tow strap for me. I did some reading and, to me at least, it seems that a lot of stuff out there is for off-roading recovery and pretty heavy duty. I was more looking for something to carry with me during bad weather times to either lend someone a hand (while fully getting their permission of course) getting out of a bit of snow or if I happen to get stuck then someone could use it to pull me out as well.

I have an '07 Sahara and it has the 2 small hooks on top the front bumper and one tow hook on the back. Whatever would work and any end connections I would need would be greatly appreciated!

I picked up a 20 foot tow strap from Cabellas for around $20. Synthetic Strap rated up to 10k lbs. Hope this works

I have three straps in mine at all times, a 20'x2" w/ loops, 20'x2" with hooks, and a 30'x2" with loops. Never had any issues with them.

One thing that is very important, NEVER use a strap that has metal hooks.
If you do, and it comes loose under pressure it can kill someone.

Next, NEVER use a hitch ball as a location for the strap.
If you do, and it comes off under pressure it can kill someone.

Lastly, try to use your rear hook to put anyone out and the front
hooks for pulling you out.

Yeah that is indeed scary. I work in the shipping industry and board vessels in the Port of Houston for work. I stay as far away from the mooring lines as I can because if one of those pops, its game over for me. Theres enough tension on one of those lines that if it snaps the pop could total a car. Literally rip it in half.
