Just ordered a 2010 Rubi. Dealer says 8 to 10 weeks until delivery.
How many of you were surprised and got your jeep sooner than that from the factory?
Did the dealer offer to "tag" one for you on the line so you could get it sooner?
This is what my salesperson says he's going to try and do for me. Is this possible, or is he pulling my gearshift?

Eight to ten sounds about right though I think my 08 came in approx two months. Many variables like time of year, supplies,etc.Chrysler had what turned out to be a short (1 week) shut down due to a dispute with a vender in 08. As far as "Tagging" I have no idea what that does or pros and cons but personally wouldnt want to put any kind of rush on the order, just want it made right. Good luck!

 

I ordered my 09 on Aug 12 2008, I took delivery on Nov 17th.......you do the math.

 

Just ordered a week a go and dealer tells me 6 to 8 weeks, it is possible for quicker but unlikely. will keep you posted.

The dealer told me to expect about 8 weeks lead time on my order. I made the order 12/12/07 and took delivery on 1/25/2008.

 

I ordered mine very beginning of Feb (4th I think), it was ready to ship on the 18th...is currently sitting around waiting on a train. Dealer expects it in on the 4th of March and I'll pick it up next Saturday. Seems like it was ready super-quick and the delivery process will have taken almost two weeks.

I ordered my 2010 in mid December and am still waiting. It's been over two months now. The dealer made some calls and found out that there is a shortage of hard tops. It is already built, sitting there, awaiting a hard top. So hopefully I'll see it at some point in the next few weeks. Granted, they did shut down for the holidays, but it was originally scheduled to be shipped late January. So essentially.......9 WEEKS AND COUNTING!!!
