The Difference Between JK and Hummer Owners
Just returned from a Boy Scout leader training for key adults in the council. One of the other leaders is a Hummer owner, and we have an ongoing, friendly rivalry going about our rigs. Well, a couple months ago he told me that he had to buy a new Hummer because of the problems he was having with his engine. So he picked up an HUT. It's a nice vehicle. But, he admits he doesn't off-road it. Today when I see him he asks excitedly, "Did you see my Hummer? I got a tonneau!" I smiled and said that I'd walked in past it, but hadn't noticed the tonneau. Then I suggested he go take a look at mine -- new Shrockworks rear bumper with trail and jerry can racks, and a 2.5" coil lift and new track bars waiting in the garage to be installed. As I was leaving this afternoon I again walked past his Hummer and did take notice of the tonneau--it made me smile. But, not as much as the other three JKs that were all parked within 100 feet of my own Jeep.
Hummer owner= "look at me! Look at my overweight grocery getter! Oh, and I can even take the kids to soccer practice in it!"
Jeep Wrangler owner= (looking at the rocky trail he just conquered) "Hey, look at that H2 stuck down there!"

I pulled up behind an H3 at a gas station. As I was filling up, I saw the driver eyeballing my JK. Just as I finished filling up, I heard the guys son say,"Hey daddy, isn't that the Jeep you wanted?" The dad then said,"You can thank your mom for buying this." I kinda felt sorry for this guy.
