Coast to coast in my Rubi, here's the best picture
Just drove my Rubicon from SC to NV. Averaged 17mpg, which I guess wasn't too bad. Found this place in the middle of the desert. Too good to pass up for a picture. Make sure you read the sign.
If you want it, I'm pretty sure that recliner is still there.
Jeep drove ok. 35's with the stock gears, it got a little slow going up hill in some of the area's above 5,000 feet. The continental divide was like 7,500' and I could just barely make 55mph going up hill with it floored in 4th, couldn't even pass the FedEx semi next to me. I don't think I got any faster than 75 the whole way. It got pretty painful by the second day, but not to bad. Just slow. Rolled up a towel and used it for an arm rest for my left arm.

Now when I do road trips I just throw my iPod on with the earphones and use a hoodie or towel for an arm rest.
Love the hell out of the Jeep, but a highway vehicle it is not.
