Mastercraft seat heater switch
Pulled the trigger on some RS seats with heaters. OK, OK heaters were a little over board but I decided WTH. They should ship in 4-6 weeks and I'll be installing them in June on my next R&R.
I only have a short time off and like to have all the parts and plans in place to make projects go as smooth as possible.
I assume mastercraft supplies switches for the heaters but google let me down on this one. Can't find one single post about an install and the MC website has nothing conserning this.
I know some here have MC seats with heaters. What did ya'll do concerning switch locations? Did you use the supplied switch or buy a better one? Did anyone try to make it look factory and use the OEM switch?

I have the seat heaters in my Mastercraft Baja RS's. When I ordered them I checked the block as I was choosing options. Anyway, they come prewired and I simply ran the driver and passenger switches to the lower dash panel infront of the shifter. Since I have ARB lockers I run the Daystar lower panel in place of the stock mesh/plastic thing. The seat heater switches are located on the left and right side of the Daystar panel. Sorry my friend, no photos available for me to upload from my current location. Hope this helped out somehow.

I bought the Mopar seat heater kit last year and installed it myself. It came with a small double switch which I installed between the front of the cup holders and rear of the shift boot. Looks factory and so far haven't spilled anything major on them
Chris, first of all Merry Christmas my Canadian brother!! Hope all is well for you and the family

Good to hear from you brother, i hope Santa treated you well and you had a good Christmas. Ive got the same Daystar switch so i know what you are talking about i was thinking it came with a switch that you might see with stock heated seats.. I was talking with(emaling) Lizard about seats and I'm going to order driver / passenger after the holidays . They will be my Christmas present this year.
The JKX 2011 video is out i think they did a great job with it. I hope you are home soon my friend.
Chris
