Question Smoking my turn signals

I'm curently blacking out my turn signals. The front ones on the grill look great ; thou I'm currently having a difficult time removing the lights from the front fenders.
Any info on how to remove the OEM light cover would be Kool.

There are quite a few threads on this subject and maybe a write up too, search the forum to see what you can find. I'll tell you from experience that you dont need to disassemble the flares or anything like that to get them out but do it on a warm day so you dont brake any plastic clips and have a 2nd pair of hands to help you out, it will make your life a whole lot easier.

I agree with Goody. Tape is off and spray it. It isn't worth the time involved to extract the side markers. Taping it off works the same.

Yea it's kind of tricky so I'm just going to tape it off & paint it.
I found a few posts, but nothing on how to unasemble the light.
Thanks fellas

Look at the Rugger Ridge web site. Goto the Light Guards section and pull up the PDF that shows how to install the side marker guards. Installed a set on my buddy Jk last weekend and we had these lights out in 6-7 min. Very helpful.

Quadratec, Rugged Ridge Euro light guard side markers, there's a PDF file that gives a step by step. Taping it off is of course easiest though. lol

if you cut/drill out the rivet holding the wheelwell to the fender closest to the front of the vehicle you can easily pull the two apart and get the lamp assembly out. Lowe's sells Chrysler plastic push in retainers similar to what hold the grill on to hold things together in the end (or use a regular rivet). It only takes a couple of minutes once you have this rivet out. But, it does require a LOT of flexing-do it in warm weather. I used Nightshades spray on mine with great results.
