Default price on gears installed.

Just wondering what you guys are paying to have your gears installed. Around here in Denver CO, guys want $1800 to $2300. Is that way high or normal.

I assume this is parts and labor? You can probably get the parts cheaper through one of the vendors here. Then you just pay labor. Which should run about 600-800 or so.

I've been calling around this past couple weeks to shops here in the front range area for quotes on gear installs and from what I've found those numbers are normal around here. They do however seem high to me compared to what other locations are paying and considering the deals that SLC and Lunatic offer.

I am getting mine done this week for $72 / hour plus parts. Was quoted about 7-9 hours of work total plus the gears.

Paid $550 from Northridge for the overhaul kit.

I'm in WI....

I was also quoted from another shop for $ 1750 for labor and parts included.
